![]() They reportedly have superior single-threading compared to Intel, which had been the king previously, and a lot of art/animation software uses single threading. (Which AMD launched to compete directly with the 9900k. I don’t know if the system would run better on say, an intel 9900k CPU or one of the new competing AMD cpus that were recently launched. The problem is - while there are benchmarks and advice for things like Photoshop, Aftereffects, Premiere, Blender, Etc - there’s not really much info I can find online about benchmarks or system builds built with Harmony in mind. I checked all of the processing/system requirements to run Toon Boom posted here and everything seemed to match up, if not exceed the requirements.įast forward to now, I’m trying to work on a project with multiple layers and frames, but nothing too overly complex (no rigs and no extensive use of effects/nodes, just some frame by frame animation) and I can barley bucket fill a frame without it lagging. I recently purchased a new computer and reached out on another forum to find the best fit for my needs.
